We have received the homestudy finally. It has been just over a month but felt much longer. Everything came back clean, not that we expected it not to. We will be sending our photo books and home study to the attorney tomorrow. We will have a conference call after they get it and ask us the particulars of what we are looking for in our child. Then they will start showing our photo book to prospective birth mothers. We are excited and ready for this next step and are praying it goes quickly.

So not much has happened in the last month. It has actually been kind of nice because it kind of felt like everything was moving fast. I needed a break to recollect myself.  We haven't received the home study yet. The social worker called the other day and said that our background checks from MI and SC are in now and she is going to finish the report and we should get it soon. Once we get that and our photo books to the attorney then comes the real waiting. It has been good though and we are excited about what is yet to come.
